  1. Remember selections per field

    There are a number of fields in our business that make sense to remember, however we use custom fields and would prefer a use to have to make the conscious decision each time to select that field.

  2. Class-based dashboard, timesheet totals, tracking

    Need for class-based reporting, timesheet summaries, dashboard options. Many clients use class to track activity and the line of sight on this should be as well thought out as by Customer/Job. Thanks

  3. Have a way to turn off or delete the automatic Tsheets timesheet entries for sick time, vacation, and holiday.

    Our company uses a separate way to track Sick, Vacation, and Holiday time, for which we have our own Customer accounts, for lack of a better term. This causes the employees, when entering their time sheets, to have to choose between our company's sick time customer, and the default Tsheets sick time. The same goes for vacation time and holiday time. This can lead to confusion, and in some cases, employees have chosen the Tsheets option, not our companies option. Thus, it would be useful to be capable of disabling or deleting these Tsheets default accounts.

  4. Service Item and class restriction by employee

    Our company has manage classes and service items. Employees are complaining about the amount of items they have to choose from. It would be nice to restrict certain classes and service items to the specific employee.

  6. Allow multiple items to be selected from the Custom Fields

    Allow multiple selections from a Custom Field list. Employees can select a couple different items from Custom Fields when clocking in instead of just one item from one list.

  7. Class Custom Assignments

    Assign classes to employees. Once a class is assigned to that employee, the employee is only able to check into jobs/ service items that are linked to that class. This company has multiple locations in which having the employees see every job is overwhelming and unnecessary.

  8. Enter more employee information and track address, phone and HR notes.

    Add some more fields to "Employee Editor". Add employee address and phone number. Also and HR tracking tab would be good. For example to track the date and amount of the last raise, the date of the last review and some notes.

  9. When adding custom service items to customers an "apply to all customers"

    Would be helpful to have "apply to all customers" instead of having to assign service items to each customer.

  10. Add ability to turn off service item function for specific customers where a service item is not needed.

    Many of our customers do not need a service item listed. For example we use "transit" as a customer name to track transit time but then we have to click on a service item as well when "transit" should be all that is needed. We also enter other overhead items as customers as well where we don't need a service item.

  11. Ability to search within custom field dropdown in Manual Time Card

    It would be great if i could type a few letters in the service item dropdown box and see a much reduced list. We have hundreds of service items, and it's tedious to have to scroll around.

    Or, let each employee customize the service items they see.

  12. Customize the order of columns to match the client's timesheets

    Business Value: Match client timesheets to better match their established processes.

    Idea: In the construction realm there is a LOT of variation from one company to the next in the timesheet, field worksheets, etc. that they use. One cool thing TSheets could do is allow clients to customize the order of fields in their timesheet view including custom fields. For example, Job, Cost Code, Work Category, Hours, Day of the Work, and Work State. In addition to lowering the psychological barriers to adoption by matching what people are familiar with, this functionality can help TSheet better integrate with some accounting…

  13. Would be nice to have a specific location to list parts used and supplier invoice numbers

    Have a place where parts used can be listed and supplier invoices can be tagged by photo or invoice number.

  14. Change tasks with fewer steps

    Just have the program presume that you are changing tasks within the same job code unless you start by selecting the job code. This would prevent the need for selecting the job code you are already on in order to change tasks on the same Job Code.

  15. Allow Custom Field managed lists to work like Job Codes and be assignable by group

    It would be nice for the Custom Field managed lists to operate like the Job Codes, with sub fields as well as employee/group assignments. Not just global fields. We Need to be able to track customer information(Job Codes) as well as task information(Custom Fields). There is no need for our Shop Employee's to be able to see our office/engineer employee's tasks or Office Staff to see Field Service tasks. Currently our options are one big list of tasks for the hole company or a text field manually typed in. Both problematic and not user friendly.

  16. We'd like to be able to apply service items to only some jobs and not all of our customer jobs.

    Currently the service items are set up to be kind of "all or nothing" but it would be nice to be able to pick and choose which service items belong to which jobs.

  17. Make Custom Fields visible on Who's Working display as option

    Ideally the crew should be able to see the location of other crew members in Who's Working on mobile. Currently only the Job Codes show up there. We use a custom field to enter the crew member's location and would like that to be what is seen from Who's Working. So either what is displayed in Who's Working is customizable, or custom fields are added to the display in addition to Job Codes.

  18. Automatically post the custom field assignment

    The custom field assignment is a great feature for customer/jobs. However, after I set this up, I was disappointed to see that you still have to post the service item, class, & billable for the customer. It just eliminates the other options.

    For this feature to really be beneficial, the custom field assignment should populate automatically.

  19. Better Service Items Organization (and no products!)

    Currently the Service Item/Task list is formatted where if you set your
    Quickbooks Products and services with Parent Headers and sub categories, it appears in Tsheets like so:

    Landscaping Services Design: Estimating & Sketch
    Landscaping Services:Design: Soil Prep
    Landscaping Services:Design:Plant install
    On the mobile service list, this cuts off the view of the line and appears like so...
    "Landscaping:Desi..."

    This makes it impossible to see what we are actually clocking into which defeats the purpose of Tsheets for our company.

    I suggest you format it EXACTLY LIKE THE QUICKBOOKS LIST.

    Thanks for the feedback, Mike. We are currently investigating the products showing up, as we agree they certainly shouldn’t. The interface we use to get the list has changed and we are actively working on a solution.

  20. Fill in default values for custom fields based on Task/Service Item

    For 90% of our timecard entry, the custom fields are dependent variables, not independent variables, based on the Task/Service Item. The employees have to fill out these redundant fields every time through the annoying pop-up, creating a bad user experience. Also, this gives the employees the opportunity to enter in incorrect data for the custom fields. This is especially true for values where there is only one value allowed for the customer. Why even make the user click when there is only one option?
