  1. Allow employer to set notification to enter time entries

    I would like to be able to set a notification for any employees who have not entered at least 8 hours for the day before, and keep that notification coming every day until they enter their time. My company does not use the "clock in-clock out" feature; instead we require each person to enter time manually.

    • allow manual card as default window that fills computer screen

      allow manual time card to be default window that fills computer screen. For employers that just need this option for employees makes it less clutter and easier for employees to just quickly log in enter time and then log out. Want option for manual time card to be default window and fills most of screen except left side menus when on desk top. Too much visual clutter for those that just want to go to manual weekly timesheet.

      • Accessibility: Keyboard shortcut to toggle between manual timesheet and notes

        Entering notes in the manual timesheet should not require the mouse, yet it does. This makes entering notes more tedious than it has to be. One option would be to offer a keyboard shortcut to toggle between the timesheet entry and its notes. Since tab and the right arrow key do the same thing, a solution would be to have tab do the toggling.

        • bug report: Manual Time Card data loss on edit

          Open Manual Time Card,
          Select Row with multiple Dates,
          Click on Job to change job,
          Select Advanced Tracking values ( 2 managed lists in my case ),
          Click Save

          Result -> Error: Fix the cell ... Missing Fields...
          AND, first cell is lost.

          I would infer that the update routine is currently something like this:

          1) a. Validate new record values
          b. Delete record
          c. Continue to next record
          2) a. Create new record
          b. Continue to next new record.

          It would appear that the Advanced tracking values selected initially do not propagate to the whole row. Validation for the…

          • Only show 2 decimal places and make sure weekly totals add up

            Manual Time card shows 3 decimal places and daily totals don't add up to weekly total always. Please show this using 2 decimals.

            • Manual Time Card - sort by project/service item, not just job code/customer

              Many of our customers have multiple projects assigned. It would be helpful to our employees to have the ability to sort their timecard by project name (which all start with a number) instead of by customer name.

                We would like to see the actual time employees work on the manual time card, i.e. 8:00 - 12:00 and 12:30 - 4:30, rather than just the number of hours they worked.

                • Bummer, don't like the new change to the Web UI

                  Now every time I review an entry in the time card, the system "claims" that I should save the changes, even if there are none. Didn't use to be like that. It's just one more click, but unfortunately it's also a "pause and have to think about it moment".
                  Could you put it back to the way it was?

                  • Ability to view and enter time in manual timecard by pay period

                    Right now we can only enter time by week but this doesn't work well since we are on a semi-monthly pay period. We need the ability to view the days in the semi-monthly pay period in our manual timesheet since we can work flexible work hours. This way we can enter time by pay period rather than week. Some semi-monthly pay periods end mid-week

                    • Make the Billable selection a check box on the time item cell itself

                      Currently for each cell in the timesheet you have to select the cell, click the Billable textbox, select Yes/No, then click Save. This is a four-click task for EACH cell.

                      This could be reduced to a one-click task for each cell by making the billable selection a checkbox in the cell itself. This would make it easier and quicker to set the billable on each item, as well as allowing the user to verify, at a glance, that the sheet is correct before submitting.

                      • Allow you to save a timesheet even if it's not fully filled out yet

                        You should be able to at least save a timesheet if some fields are missing, like a service item or billable option. Currently this is not an option.

                        • Ability to set the Service Item on multiple or all cells for the current timesheet

                          Just as with the billable option, currently you have to go to EVERY cell in the time sheet, click the Service Item textbox, select the service item, and click Save.

                          I have only ever entered my name as the Service Item, so these steps are completely redundant. It would be great to have the option to select the service item only once and have it applied to all cells in the current time sheet. Note that this would not replace the current method of setting service items on each cell. It would just be a different way of setting it.

                          • Remove customer column from manual timesheet - add standard time fields instead.

                            The timesheet is setup for a customer bill-back scenario. This is probably a less common scenario than a manufacturing plant worker who may simply need to indicate straight time, overtime, and breaks. It would be nice if there was a shop floor type view to the manual time card for non-customer billing situations.

                            • Move the "x" on manual time card so customers/job codes are not deleted when making edits to manual time card

                              I was just thinking it would be good on the "Manual Time Card" to have the x to delete a line to the right of each line instead of right next to where you would select the client/customer.

                              I have accidentally hit the x instead of the client name field a couple of times.

                              • Manual Timecard Layout: Decrease 'Hour' cell/column width; it will fit better on smartphone

                                On hour headers, put weekday on line1, date on line 2 [since you already have two lines because of 'Customer Totals'] then the cell width can be reduced which would allow the entire window to decrease in width, making it fit better on the screen, especially for iphones. Since there is a maximum of 2 characters that goes into those cells, there is a lot of wasted space in the layout. This is a much easier solution [albeit temporary], for the request to make window adjustable in size.

                                • Make it so I don't have to fill out two time cards one for regular time and one for overtime

                                    Could you please sort the jobs on my timesheet by project number rather than client name. My project numbers are in a logical order while my customer names are not.

                                    • Manual time entry option by 15 min segments

                                      Suggestion: Option for manual time input by 15 min segments instead of 1
                                      minute segments. 1 minute segments is time consuming, error prone, annoying
                                      when billing by 15 minute segments.

                                      • Add "Service item" as a column in the manual time card, instead of having it underneath

                                        Moving the service item next to the customer makes it easier for our consultants to double check their timesheet at a glance, instead of clicking on every time entry to see what task was being worked on. Huge time saver!

                                        • Create rows in a manual time card without entering duration/time.

                                          Right now, in order to add a row to a user's manual time card, you are also required to specify a duration for a specific date. What I'd like to be able to do is create a row in a weekly, manual time card without creating any timesheets, akin to a user adding a job code to their time card via the user interface. This will allow me to sync a user's assigned tasks, which often change here, on a daily basis to "build" their time card for them, such that all they need to do is enter times each…
