  1. Allow PTO to count toward the OT calculation

    Our company calculates PTO towards the OT for an employee. For example, if Employee A works 40 hours in a week and uses 8 hours of sick time, we would pay them for 8 hours of OT even though 8 of those hours are sick time. We would like to be able to customize the calculations to do that since we currently have to export the details to a spreadsheet and manually manipulate it there.

  2. CA: Makeup Time

    Our company has elected to have a policy where our employees can petition for makeup time. I'd love to see an option in TSheets to allow employees to request working over 8 hours in a day to makeup for missed time on another day without it being counted for the daily CA overtime. Is this possible?

  3. Manage overtime beyond a daily and 1 week period

    In our province we can have an averaging agreement with an employee over a 4 week period. e.g. in a 4 week period OT would start after 160 hours. Right now in Tsheets can only apply OT on a daily and weekly basis.

  4. An OT field within the timesheet edit

    Be able to designate a certain amount of hours from a specific timesheet as OT hours. This would cut back on a lot of editing hours spent once I export my timesheets into Quickbooks. This would also solve the problem with everyone who has weekend hours as OT. I would be able to select a timesheet to edit, and input into a field within the edit screen, that 1.5 hours of this timesheet is OT, or check a box that would designate the entire timesheet as OT. Please strongly consider this and an update.

  5. Create new time sheets when overtime starts

    Create a new time card sheet when overtime starts so that you dont have to manually figure out exactly what department gets how much overtime charged.

  6. Include PTO hours in overtime calculations

    Count PTO hours towards overtime hours. If I work 33 hours in a week, and take 8 hours of PTO, I would be at 41 hours. I would want the extra hour to be overtime. It needs to be able to sync with Quickbooks as well.

  7. Allow Customizable OT guidelines

    We are on an averaging agreement where hourly employees are only eligible for OT if they work more than 80 hours in a pay period (ie: 80 hours in 2 weeks). Could we please have the ability to customize our own OT? Currently only available as X hours each week/day...

  8. Set Specific Days to be Overtime

    Mon-Friday, we use regular, overtime and double time. Saturday and Sunday - work is always overtime (and then doubletime after 12 hours). We need a way to allow customization of overtime or doubletime thresholds for each day per company/group/employee. This would allow clients, for example, to pay overtime for Sundays, pay set alternate "weekends" for certain employees or groups.

  9. More flexible overtime options, for example, based on specific time periods

    We would like greater flexibility with overtime parameters. For example, we pay OT for hours work between 12am and 7am, and currently can't track that with your program.

  10. Have a payroll report that is all inclusive, has reg. hours, OT hours job costed, PTO hours, etc. that mirrors a manual time card.

  11. Support different pay rates based on time of day

    Our staff get paid different rates of pay depending on the time of day that they work. They also get overtime on the weekends. We would like to be able to adjust the pay rate per employee by the time of the day. e.g between 6pm and 6am Monday to Friday we pay time and a half so it would be good if TSHEETS could be programmed to calculate their rate of pay at 150% of their normal pay rate. This would save a lot of manual calculations at the end of each month.

  12. tracking overtime for rates other than hourly

    Tracking daily overtime for rates other than hourly.
    Presently, TSheets has the ability to track overtime per CA Labor Law standards, however we have several employees who work prevailing wage jobs at various rates (ie Journeyman electrician and apprentice)
    If they are working on the same job we cannot preset the wage rate for this job-our employees are set to choose their own wage rate for prevailing wage based on the county they are working in. TSheets does not calculate the overtime for these jobs. It would be awesome if it could.

  13. Allow overtime to be calculated per session worked.

    My employees work in sessions late at night, and sometimes run into the following day, i.e. they start at 9pm on the 1st and end at 3am on the 2nd. If they clock back in on the 2nd at 5pm (14 hours later) and work until 11:30pm on the 2nd, the system will take the 3 hours already worked from 12am-3am, and use those hours to calculate OT. The system should recognize that after 14 hours the employee is starting a new session and calculate OT, if earned, as such.

  14. We need a way to track overtime and double time

    Time and half is paid after 6pm m-f and after 3pm sat and all day sunday. We pay double time when someone has worked 40 hours during the week and they are working during what is normally a time and a half timeperiod. Right now, we have to break it all down manually so it would be fantastic if there was a way to set parameters like these in tsheets so the software does it for us!

  15. Convert overtime hours to paid time off hours

    It would be great to be able to have employees track hours, and as their overtime hours build up they can select an option, or have it automatically convert their overtime hours to PTO or a paid time off bank called "Comp. Time".

  16. Task or Project Based Overtime Alerts

    It would be great to be able to have alerts based upon a specific task or project, not just total hours for the day.
