  1. Automatic Holiday time entry

    It would be nice to be able to set up holiday times and have them prepopulate time sheets. for example - for major holidays such as Christmas, Thanksgiving, 4th of July, to have the option to have 8 hours of holiday time prepopulate or pre-entered into the time sheet for employees so that they do not have to go in and manually enter it either before the holiday or after the holiday.

  2. PTO approval/workflow, employee can request time off and manager can approve it (from all endpoints, show PTO on schedule, etc.)

    Allow employees to submit PTO requests that go to a manager for approval. Currently, they submit PTO and automatically gets added to their time sheet and managers must delete from their time sheets before approving if not an approved request.

  3. Unpaid Day Off/ Monitoring Attendance- entering hours that do not add to total hours worked

    We would like the ability to track when employees take the day off and it is not paid, or if they call in and do not have any PTO hours. It would be great if this could show hours NOT worked, but not have those hours be added to their total worked hours in reports. Alternatively, maybe there could be an "absence" button or PTO code.

  4. Allow for adding to banked time on time sheet instead of a manual entry

    Our employees bank time periodically and the only way to account for that is with a manual entry by the administrator. Allow employees to enter banked time as a negative in their timesheet which would add to the balance of their banked time.

  5. The ability to set up Holidays on a Calendar and have any regular time worked count as overtime on these days

    There should be a feature where I as a manager can open a calender and plot in days that should be considered holidays and as such should work just as Sundays. All time worked on these days should
    count as overtime.

    We ABSOLUTELY need a way to print a report outlining ALL PTO used during an employee's year so we can track usage if there is a conflict

  7. Ability to set Vacation accrual rates by hire date/years worked

    It would be nice if PTO accrual was auto-tracked by hire date. Meaning if an employee is employed from 0-3 years, 5-7 yrs, 7-10 years etc; he/she will earn different accrual rates by years of service. Right now, we need to manually track when an employee should earn increased accrual; however if the system tracked it automatically--this would save business owners and managers a lot of time.

  8. Add a calendar view for employee PTO; have it sync with outlook, etc.

    It would be nice to glance at a calendar and see employee attendance/absences/vacation etc :)

  9. Separate PTO and NON-PTO

    Allow managers/employees to submit non-PTO that is separately totaled from PTO. Company policy states that we payout PTO for any missed time if the employee has the PTO available, unless they explicitly tell us not to. Right now, we have no easy way to track that.

  10. Ability to add PTO with the dial in application and the iphone smart/phone app.

    when using the dial in or iphone /smartphone app you cannot currently enter PTO for the day. TSheets should allow tracking for this time as well as job codes. Also the employee submittal should work from this aspect as well.

    This would allow individuals to clock in to a PTO code instead of having to enter it through a specialty tool.

  12. Marking time off without using PTO (either being out of hours or by choice)

    To avoid any potential issues with disputes over pay, it would be helpful to somehow note that an employee was out for the day but opted not to use any PTO hours - either choosing not to use them or having none to use. At this point, it can be easy for someone to say - oh I was there that day, I just forgot to enter my time or some such nonsense.

  14. Color Code PTO/Sick

    It would be great to have a different color for PTO/sick when viewing the Approvals Report. Currently the only way to track is to look at each individual with PTO used or to drill down in the Project Report.

    sometimes there is need to review the use of PTO time and being able to review notes and/or descriptions helps

  16. Track unpaid leave like we do PTO

    Employees can take FMLA leave in increments, it would be great to be able to track this like we do Paid Time Off (and not confuse them by calling it "Paid Time Off" or
    I really like how TO is flagged in the reports

  18. Ability to carryover a certain amount of PTO

    Having PTO accrual as an option is ok, but adding the ability to carry over a certain amount would be better. Now I have to manually adjust each employee as of their anniversary date. Quite a pain.

  19. Predict PTO for planning purposes

    In some other timesheet or pto systems I've used, there was an awesome feature where it would predict PTO time down the road. This is super handy for employees who want to see how much time they'll have, e.g. 3 months from now I see that I can take 20 hrs of PTO.

  20. Submit PTO in Hours and Minutes Instead of Decimals

    It would be nice to be able to enter in PTO time in an hours and minutes format rather than just in decimal format.
