How can we improve TSheets?

Ability to view and enter time in manual timecard by pay period

Right now we can only enter time by week but this doesn't work well since we are on a semi-monthly pay period. We need the ability to view the days in the semi-monthly pay period in our manual timesheet since we can work flexible work hours. This way we can enter time by pay period rather than week. Some semi-monthly pay periods end mid-week

One more vote. We are evaluating T-Sheets currently and this is a real "miss" compared to other products. All of our client billings and payroll are based on semi-monthly cycles.

This is a real problem for us. Our employees are paid on a Semi-monthly basis and submit their time sheets on that basis. We've been using TSheets for several months and it has taken us all this time to realize to figure out that the reason we keep having "problems" with employees "not submitting" time sheets is actually a flaw in how TSheets defines a week or work week or pay period. We are no careful to tell our supervisors to do all approvals based on a Custom time frame and ignore the other choices when selecting what types of time cards to approve.

This seems to me to be a real problem with TSheets understanding of what a semi-monthly payroll is. If salaried employees work M-F and the semi-monthly pay period ends on a Saturday or Sunday they are never going to enter time on a Saturday or a Sunday. Because they are off those days. They will submit their time sheets on Friday at some point. But if the supervisor runs a pay period time sheet approval they are not going to get everyone's time sheets because some employees haven't submitted time on Saturday and Sunday.

Real problem and oversight on TSheet's part.

I agree with all of the other comments, this is a definitely an important feature for many. It seems weird that you are able to change the payroll time period to semi-monthly basis, but you can't put your time in on that period.

I agree with this request. Too bad we don't have more votes. Simply make the MANUAL time sheet show more than one week! Please bump this to at least near the top (under the PTO approval requests) hee hee :)

Government contractors are definitely going to want this feature because they are on a semi-monthly periods. This allows them to see how hours spread across a job without the need to run a full report. Can we please make a formal request that the issue be addressed in the updates ahead.

Would it be possible to display a progress for the pay period (a bi-weekly total in our case) in addition to the weekly progress? That way people could easily see how they are doing for hours over the pay period in addition to the week. We do not require people to work a specific number of hours per week, rather by pay period.

Please add a sort button for the "manage timesheets" so we can see a specific period in that view (by week, month, payperiod, etc.)

Add the ability to enter time on a monthly basis. Since our pay periods are monthly, it would be much nicer to see and enter my time on a monthly calendar rather than a 1-week calendar.
