Customer Notification - Electronic Service Slips
In our service business, many customers ask us to leave a "service slip" indicating that service has been provided, which tasks were completed, and what time/date we were on the customer's site. This currently requires a 1970-style duplicate or triplicate paper form that's cumbersome and worn out. We would like a feature where, if required by a customer, a formatted email would be generated (at time of clock-out) to go to a customer-defined email address with the requisite info > service completed, tasks completed (using custom fields), job notes, and time of completion. This would eliminate another old-fashion piece of paper and make us look like service heroes. Thanks for your consideration.
Ideally the Service Slip (form) should also attach to the Customer file permanently to provide an ongoing service history for that Customer. All technicians should be able to view the historical Customer Job history files at any time on their mobile devices. Also the ability to attach images to the Service Slip is important for future service reference.
