Round Total Time on Reports
We see the time round add-in but this only works when clocking in and out - not for manual or timesheet edits. Also, what we really want from a billing perspective is for the total time to be rounded for billing purposes (not rounding of clock in or out times)?

I too need rounding of all hours for a client on a daily basis. For my business, I don't really care when people start/end, I just need their totals and I would love for it to round the total hours/mins per day to the closet 15 minute increment. A little depressing that this was entered in 2013, has lots of votes and yet apparently hasn't been implemented?

Our accounting department would like this feature as well. Our employees switch in live and to the minute jobs, but for accounting purposes we need the total for the weeks to be rounded off on the payroll report and the payroll summary.

This is pretty basic in my opinion. Why hasn't this already been implemented?

Definitely need this feature!
I vote for this!! Would be great to set times to round after the task is complete up to the nearest whatever increment. This is especially important for billing purposes. Rounding of the start and end times isn't working. Many of our tasks take just under 15 minutes, and we've been getting a lot of 0 minute entries because of the randomness of our clock in and out times. I've turned off rounding but billing at increments of anything less than 1/4 hour just creates a mess.

This is how my old software (and even the software before that!) operated, and our employees are having a hard time adjusting to the new rounding methods. For example, if an employee leaves for a lunch break at 12:20 and returns at 1:23, they were actually on break for 1 hour and 3 minutes, but the software docks them 1 hour and 15 minutes for their break, because it rounds 12:20 to 12:15 and 1:23 to 1:30. On the other side, from a management perspective, I have noticed it happen reverse (i.e. an employee is gone for almost a full hour, but only uses 45 minutes of their lunch hour according to the software). Our old system would take the total time out and round it, so if the employee was gone for 55 minutes, it would count the lunch hour as 1 hour.
Additionally, the manual timesheet edits not automatically rounding is bothersome, because I am forced to have to calculate the number of hours the employee worked in quarter hours manually at the end of the pay period rather than the software doing it for me.
I'm also a big fan of this - I would prefer to see exactly when the clock in/out times were, but be able to round for reports.
Great idea - this isn't something that we currently have, so a feature that would round report totals instead of individual time entries would be practical.
Thanks for the feedback!
