    Instead of having to delete a job to remove it from the make an option to archive it. We have jobs sometimes that will have a warranty callback and need to reactivation that job to track time.

  2. Add a feature that allows project managers to input a "budget" of hours upon creation of a new customer

    When we create new Customers in TSheets, it would be great to be able to input a "budget" of hours into the Customer.
    For instance, say a project manager accounted for 1000 hours to be billed towards a project. It would be useful if this number could be added somewhere into the Customer page, so that when a project report is run it would show something like:

    "Budget: 1000 hours
    Job>Category1: 500 hours
    Job>Category2: 250 hours
    Total: 750/1000 hours"

    This feature shouldn't restrict clocking in to a Customer that has reached the budget of hours, but would be used in…

  3. Job sorting by dates

    A way to view/sort jobs by date created or last used for management so when a job is no longer used or is done, there's a way to find those and clean them out.

    At the Job Code we could set up these attributes:

    - job start requirement: start and stop time intervals (e.g. office is open only from 9am-5pm)
    - job length limit (e.g. paid lunch 30min, after the limit go to unpaid break)
    - GPS position tolerance (e.g. can start only 1 mile of the office, and auto stop if they leave), or listed WiFi SID
    - GPS log off / on (ping time) (e.g. in the office only every 30 min, in the car on ext. battery every 1 min)
    - payable / not (e.g. lunch, break) / x% (e.g. phone…

  5. Job Code Search

    For managing job codes, you should develop filters to help search for a job. If there was a drop box for different jobs assigned to different departments, that would be great. For example, I want to search the jobs assigned to "construction", I would like to be able to just click something and have all jobs assigned to construction showing!

    for our crews it would be helpful if we could attach pictures of properties they are clocking into (to give them confirmation they are at the right place)

  7. Job Codes Listed in Reverse Order

    Our company continues to add in job code numbers as numerical codes. This has created our list of job codes to start with the oldest and end with the newest. Example our oldest Job code is 0001 and our newest job code is 1111. This has created a long list of job codes for employees to scroll through before finding the one that they need to clock into.   8. Add Description to Job/Customer

    Provide the ability to add a description to jobs/customers and allow those to be seen in manual time card view (and likely others) to view the description. This could be done with mouse-over. A description would allow the user to enter their time more accurately when there are a lot of job codes.

  9. Timesheet Approval by Customer/Job or Job Code Managers

    It would be much more practical if Tsheets allowed for the creation of a manager who approves all the time for specific jobs/customers. In many industries employees work on multiple jobs which are overseen by different managers (think construction) who have no way of knowing the details of any other job. As Tsheets is currently set up, the managers I have created cannot approve only the time employees worked on their jobs, so there is no real way to make sure all the time my employees enter is reflective of the work they did!

  11. Make job codes inactive

    I would like to have the ability to make a job code inactive without deleting it. I have the option of unassigning it, but that is not the best solution. Is there another way?

  13. Ability to add an address to a job/customer

    The ability to place an address with the job number.
    The employee in the field associates the job with the address not the
    office code. Placing the address with the office code compromises issues
    with purchase ordering and other in house aspects.

  14. Allocate a number of hours to a job / Job Costing

    Set up hourly allowances for certain job codes or tasks. This would allow us to keep an eye on how far along on a job we are, and receive alerts when we're halfway, 3/4ths, etc. This would also let you run a report for the number of budgeted hours versus the total actual hours worked. Set a billable rate on the job code so that we can run a report to see the total cost of doing a job for somebody.

  15. Time period-based jobs/customers (for example, 1 year contracts)

    Our Jobs are Contracts that are issued as a One Year Base Period with up to Four 1-Year Option Periods. We need to be able to track time, by labor category by either the Base or Option Period, depending on when the contract was awarded.

    For example, if the contract was awarded June 1, 2016 with a Base Period of June 1, 2016 to May 31, 2017 and two 1-Year options we would have three job codes. I need to be able to prevent the employee from charging their time to the wrong job code depending on which year we…

  16. Electronic checklist

    It would be convenient if we could create a customizable electronic checklist for clients that we could email them and also attach to their appointment for tracking consistency and employee performance and being able to stop using the paper format already in use.

  18. Make it easier to view Job Code/Customer assignments

    In order to see who is assigned to a customer, I have to open the customer, then the subcustomer, then "Assign", then open the group. This should show who is assigned at the top level of the customer so I don't have to go so far to figure out who is assigned. Same goes for "Custom Fields" - just show what's been selected at the project level.

    The current assignments make it very hard to ensure that employees are assigned to appropriate customers and the appropriate "Custom Fields" are selected.

  19. Split job codes into paid or unpaid

    For example, the first hour of drive time is unpaid, and anything over is paid for by the company. Without having employees manually switch codes (especially while driving), could we have a setting where we could enable employees to be compensated after the first hour?

  20. make a template for customer setting

    I use this in an accounting practice and would find it helpful if I could set up custom codes for various types of clients. Example, an individual client would always be billable, be assigned to everyone, and include certain services they might need (tax return,planning, estimated payments, extension, amended and such)
