  1. Fill in default values for custom fields based on Task/Service Item

    For 90% of our timecard entry, the custom fields are dependent variables, not independent variables, based on the Task/Service Item. The employees have to fill out these redundant fields every time through the annoying pop-up, creating a bad user experience. Also, this gives the employees the opportunity to enter in incorrect data for the custom fields. This is especially true for values where there is only one value allowed for the customer. Why even make the user click when there is only one option?

  2. Allow for a commission job code that doesn't record payroll time, but still records location and time at the job

    We have employees that do some jobs as hourly employees and some jobs as commissioned employees. Currently we have to manually back out time that employees spend on commission jobs to accurately calculate hours on hourly jobs in the payroll reports. Or we have to have the employees use a paper time sheet for commissioned jobs.. either way is less efficient than we'd like. Any ideas???

  3. Integration with Sage Simply Accounting

    I use Simply Accounting, as do most other small business owners I know in my area, BC, Canada. Any plans to integrate Tsheets with Simply Accounting?

  4. Break Time Field per Time Card

    We need the ability to easily enter a "Break" amount of time per time card. The clock in and out times would stay the same for reporting but the total time reported to quickbooks would be reduced by the amount of the break time. Even better would be the "break 00:00" auto appended to the end of the Notes for the time card.   5. Invoicing: display hours total along with $

    Enhancement request: when invoicing, it would be very helpful to display a total of "hours" along with the total of $ for the time period selected.

  6. Check off completion of a task rather than clock in/out

    Our janitorial services has repetitive tasks for multiple building locations. It would be nice and much faster if our staff only had to click on a task to check it off as complete rather than clocking in and out of the task.

  7. Allow an Approver that is setup as an Employee to NOT enter time (client supervisor approves consultant's time only)

    Allow the options during the assigning of a given Approver to a given JobCode to Default to NOT be able to enter time or at minimum default the Approvers to the "APPROVALS Reporting" tab/window showing ALL pending hours for the given week or pay period (whichever is defaulted for the Company settings - in our case 15th/31st - 2 week pay period). This would allow us to setup an "Employee" in the system that actually is an employee of our Clients and allows them username/password access to the system for ONLY approving time and reporting on Time entered previously without…

  8. Quoted time over actual project/company report

    I think this is one report that is missing. Since we use quickbooks, it would be nice to have a report to show how far off on quoted time we are.

  10. Hiding archived employees when filling in any search field

    Or allow me the ability to delete them completely. I accidentally imported 265 vendors instead of just 18 employees, now they're in there permanently. I'd rather they not be.

  11. Automatic Service items in mobile for each individual customer view pulled from their Estimates and invoices

    Here is my suggestion to how this topic of the app should function:
    If there is an estimate or invoice for the specific job number (or sub-customer on QBO), TSheets recognizes the service items on the estimate(s) or invoice(s) and makes ONLY those available for viewing on the mobile services list!

    HOWEVER, there should be a simple button at the bottom that says "view all service items" Therefore, if you run into a job where you have to do a service not originally associated with the estimate or invoice you will have the clocking in and out capability!

  12. A payroll report that includes running time

    We would like to see running clocks on our reports just like we have for ourselves. It really is more informative and less time consuming then looking up under approvals, and then doing the math. This would be helpful in instances where we may need to send employees home when they are nearing overtime.

    Sync time should be variable in length e.g. 10, 30, 60 minutes to avoid excess data usage allowing users to stay logged in

  14. Ability to add PTO with the dial in application and the iphone smart/phone app.

    when using the dial in or iphone /smartphone app you cannot currently enter PTO for the day. TSheets should allow tracking for this time as well as job codes. Also the employee submittal should work from this aspect as well.

  15. DCAA compliance module to allow employees to enter time the following day.

    Currently the DCAA Compliance module will require an employee to enter detail as to why they are entering their hours on the following day. It would be nice to be allowed to set this as a certain cut off time instead of midnight, such as 9:00 AM or 11:00 AM.

  16. make adding break time / non-billable time easier per timesheet

    As a consultancy, we are often multitasking, calling other clients, taking short breaks while we are working onsite for a different client. It would be nice to have a simple field to enter any non-billable time per timesheet period. For example, we clock in as billable then clock out four hours later - it would be nice to have a field of how much of that time was non-billable or break time. (versus having to worry about clocking out and back in for each break or interruption).

  17. I and my clients rely on the notes my staff sends on TSheets. It would be great to show them in the reporting.

    When our maintenance crew perform certain tasks they use TSheet notes to provide information such as light timer settings, inspection notes. They also use notes to request days off. It would be great to pull this information up through TSheets Reports. Right now I have to cut and paste.

  19. Ability to approve current week, but not previous weeks

    I would appreciate an option where you can approve a current week, but it does not approve all weeks prior to that date, only that week. Sometimes employees are behind in timesheets (1 or more weeks). If I run my weekly approval report and approve that week, their other weeks prior get automatically approved. This causes missed billings and costs us money and headaches.

  20. I need to be able to edit my timesheets in spreadsheet format such as the Manage Timesheets view.

    I have to submit my timesheets to another system twice a week. Before I do this, I need to review my timesheets and edit them by changing values of job codes and/or custom field values. It is very cumbersome when I have 30 or 40 entries and have to open them each individually to review and/or edit. I would like to be able to edit my timesheets in a grid format on the Manage Timesheets view. For this to be useful to me, I also need to be able to view and edit my custom fields on this view.
