    Greetings!

    My name is Nate McIntyre and I am a Product Owner here at TSheets.

    After lots of research and investigation the development team here at TSheets has begun work on our own unique take on geofencing enabled location aware time tracking.

    Ultimately our desire is to make sure that our solution provides you, the customer, a solution that solves your day to day time tracking pains. To help us with this I welcome you to share your thoughts/input/feedback as it relates to geofences and location based time tracking in email to nate@tsheets.com (or simply reply to this email).     Here is some great feedback from a merged idea:

    I would like TSheets to sync with QB client contacts and automatically assign employee time to a client based on the GPS address. (or have it ask if this is the right client based on address) Automatically start and stop the billable time when on the job site.

    Historical reporting would be the most beneficial- Being able to track cumulative onsite hours from multiple employees would provide huge insight into actual costs for any service company.

    Here's some feedback from a merged idea:

    Stealing time = Stealing MONEY!!! The idea of this application is to pinpoint a certain location i.e. Jobsite and set up a radius around this site. If an employee is within this jobsite radius when they choose to clock in... that jobsite would be at the top of the customer selection menu. If for any reason an employee was to leave the pinpoint job locations radius they will be automatically clocked out. I own a janitorial and facility maintenance company and I have caught several employees who leave a job location and then clocked in at the new job location at the same time that they clocked out of the old job location; this is costing me money. If this feature was available it would save me and my company money on stolen time due to the fact that either the employee forgot to clock out or deliberately decided not to clock out.

    I regularly have two or more men working the same schedule. Some have phones and some do not so I have to manually enter their time. I would like to be able to copy an employee timesheet for another employee.

    Here's some additional great feedback from another merged idea:

    It would help in managing crews if timesheets could slide vertically over the time slider. For example if you had a crew of 5 people, instead of putting in the time for every person, it would be awesome if you could put the time in for just one person (crew foreman, manager, etc.) and then slide the bar vertically to create identical timesheets for the other crew members.

    The crew app (iOS) and crew management on the android mobile app are great when the foreman clock in correctly, but there isn't really great crew management tools when it comes to manually entering time or making corrections; a vertical time slider feature would certainly help.

    Here's some great feedback from a merged idea:

    Allow the Time Slider to drag horizontally across the time, but also vertically to include multiple people. Basically, this would allow you to add the same exact timesheet for multiple people at once, which is perfect if you have multiple employees working at the same job at the same time.

    Great point Sarah! Thank you for bringing this up, in the meantime you can use the Manual Time Card to enter those other entries. For now, within the PTO Tool itself, you're right, you can only enter one PTO entry per day. This is a wonderful feature request, thank you for adding it!

    Great idea Dan! Right now, when your hours have been submitted, they appear with a lock icon next to them. Is there some other way that you would prefer this pop-up appear?

    Thank you for adding this feature in Melanie! Would you mind letting me know a little more detail about what's going on here? Do you mean you wish that the custom field items would automatically be selected after you've narrowed down the available options? Or do you mean something else?

    We run teams and would like to track team performance. But our employees shift in and out of teams all the time. I would like to be able to add employees to multiple groups/departments.

    This is something that the developers are looking into right now, Steve! No word yet on when we can expect it to be complete, but it is definitely being scoped out :)

    Would love a way to have all time entries default to non-billable unless a billable button was marked/ checked. It would be better for us rather than requiring each entry to be marked billable or non and the only other option is not at all or requiring every entry for a particular job be marked billable or non.

    Do not want to bother selecting this option for each time entry. TOO CUMBERSOME.

    Am sure that other remote billing apps offer this feature.

    This feature would include the addition of any item from QuickBooks (service items, class. . etc.) This feature has been re-opened due to demand, so if you would like to see this feature added, make sure you vote and comment about what you would like to see :)

    On the [Manage Timesheets] view, there NO way to display the custom Quickbooks [Service Item] or any other custom field. I would like to see it on the main screen and not have to click on the [Edit timesheet] icon. The feature is important as it impacts admin productivity.

    Here's some great feedback from a merged idea:

    Allow the custom field (in my case a Quickbooks Class) to be applied to the entire row. The data entry becomes burdensome for employees when they work on several jobs in one day and have to select the same Class for the job they are doing. The class won't change for our jobs.

    For example:
    You click the customer name and then click the class for that customer before entering time on that line.

    Here's some great feedback from a merged idea:

    Our team is asking if the (weekly digest) of everyones time, can be a email DAILY. It is just an easier way to see hours progress through out each work week. Sometimes we are to busy to login and check on our children. This way a pretty email hits your eyes once a day.

    Great idea Peter! Right now we don't have a way to send out an email, but as a workaround in the meantime you can definitely run a report and then print that report to be able to see your timesheet information for the week.
