Thanks for all of the voting and comments! This one is still being looked at by the development team for initial scoping, but no final decisions on timelines or feature details have been made just yet. Thank you so much for being patient while we continue to explore this possibility!

This already works. My employees will create a timesheet with the same clock-in and clock-out time and then enter a note such as "sick - off work" or "jury duty" etc.
If using Quickbooks, these notes are imported when you sync.

What might be nice is when you sync QB with TSheets and new customers or jobs are added to TSheets is that a add customer approval screen would appear giving us the option to manually enter a generic name for each job(customer). This generic name would be what the employee would see and select when clocking in. Everything would still map the the same customer when syncing with QB.

It would also be nice if the employee did need to switch to another job that he could be given the option to manually enter the correct time that he switched to that another job. The entered time would then need to be highlighted to show that it was a manual entry.

This is basically the same as idea that was shared by Karen S. on May 6, 2013 called
    "Make job codes inactive"

I would like to have the ability to make a job code inactive without deleting it. I have the option of unassigning it, but that is not the best solution. Is there another way?

Our developers really like this idea too, and as of now the goal is to get it included in the upcoming generation of mobile apps.
